Massage & RMT Massage in Downtown Vancouver
Choose a standard Massage or insurance-eligible Registered Massage Therapy, both a full 60 minutes in a private room in Gastown. Then pair your session with float, hot-cold, or infrared sauna for a complete recovery.
Can I Add Float, Sauna, or Hot-Cold to My Massage?
Yes. The standard Massage pairs with a Recovery Credit so you can turn your visit into a full reset. RMT massage is billed through insurance and booked on its own, but you are always welcome to add a float, sauna, or hot-cold session alongside it.
+ Recovery
A 60-minute standard Massage plus one Recovery Credit.
Use your Recovery Credit for a Float, Hot-Cold contrast, or Infrared Sauna session. Stack it on the same visit for a complete reset, or save it for another day. This package is built around the standard Massage, not RMT.

Colleen's path to massage therapy began with a lifelong love of dance and movement, and a desire to find tools that support the body in doing what it loves. She brings that same philosophy to every session, helping people feel at ease in their bodies, whatever that means for them. Her treatments draw on a range of techniques, from relaxation and circulation work to targeted pain management and mobility support, all tailored to your individual goals.

What is the difference between Massage and RMT Massage?
Both are full 60-minute, full-body massages in a private room. Massage ($99) is performed by practitioners building their hours toward RMT registration and is not eligible for insurance. Registered Massage Therapy ($140) is performed by Registered Massage Therapists and qualifies for direct insurance billing. The main difference is practitioner certification and insurance eligibility.
Is Massage covered by insurance?
No. The $99 Massage is performed by RMT students and practitioners in training, so it is not eligible for insurance reimbursement. If you want to claim through your extended health plan, choose Registered Massage Therapy.
Is Registered Massage Therapy covered by insurance?
Yes. RMT massage is performed by Registered Massage Therapists and qualifies for direct billing with most major insurance plans. We bill your plan at the time of your appointment, so there is no prepayment. Confirm your provider at info@floathouse.ca before booking.
Do I need to pre-pay for RMT massage?
No. Just book your RMT appointment online. We direct bill your insurance provider after the session, and you only pay any remaining balance your plan does not cover. The $99 Massage is pre-purchased online before you book a time.
Who performs the $99 Massage?
Skilled practitioners building their supervised hours toward becoming Registered Massage Therapists, along with trained massage practitioners. You get a full 60-minute massage at an accessible price.
Can I combine massage with float, sauna, or hot-cold?
Yes. Massage + Recovery ($150) pairs a 60-minute standard Massage with one Recovery Credit you can use for a Float, Hot-Cold, or Infrared Sauna session, all under one roof in Gastown.
Can I use a Recovery Credit with RMT massage?
The Massage + Recovery package and Recovery Membership are built around the standard Massage. RMT massage is billed through insurance and booked separately, so it does not come with a package or membership. You can still book a Float, Hot-Cold, or Infrared Sauna session on its own to pair with an RMT appointment.
How does the Recovery Membership work?
For $129 a month you get one Massage and one Recovery Credit every month. Use your Recovery Credit for a Float, Hot-Cold, or Infrared Sauna session, whatever your body needs that month. It is built to be a monthly recovery ritual.
Do credits roll over?
Yes. Any Massage or Recovery Credit you do not use rolls over for up to one year, so you never lose what you have paid for.
